Description

Stylistically, the drawing is similar to the one on the mug No. 411. It was released at the Artyomovsky plant in 1967. It can be assumed that the 50th anniversary of the victory of the Great October Socialist Revolution. The closest events of that time took place after 1917. Decree on the creation of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army was signed on January 19, 1918. It is celebrated on February 23. [1] The USSR was formed on December 30, 1922, by uniting the RSFSR, the Ukrainian SSR, the Byelorussian SSR and the Transcaucasian SFSR into one state with a single government and a capital in Moscow.

Probably the last mug from the series with "STAR", which were widely distributed until 1941. Later did not meet.

[1] Defender of the Fatherland Day is a holiday celebrated annually on February 23 in the USSR. On February 23, 1918, an appeal of the Council of People's Commissars on February 21, "The Socialist Fatherland in Danger," and the "Appeal of the Military Commander-in-Chief" N. The festive day was established in the RSFSR on January 27, 1922, when the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee issued a decree on the fourth anniversary of the Red Army, which stated: "In accordance with the resolution of the Ninth All-Russian Congress of Soviets on the Red Army, the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee draws the attention of the executive committees to the upcoming anniversary of the creation of the Red Army (February 23) Originally it was called the Day of the Red Army and Navy.
