Description

Very nice mug. Always looks spectacular side surface consisting of cylindrical columns. This form of the side surface is not often found and such mugs can be counted on fingers. The main feature of this mug is its cylindrical shape. Never after this mug of such a pre-revolutionary form will not be produced at the Artyomovsky plant. For the production of this mug, an earlier form 0.5 L of Artyomovsky plant was used. ( No. 443) And then there should be a question that for some reason no one has yet voiced out loudly - why did a mug of this form appear in 1935 when ОСТ 3550 standard already appeared, setting completely different geometrical dimensions for beer steins?

The answer is this: on June 11, 1935, “Instruction No. 108 for the verification of trade measures of liquid bodies” was approved. It stated that the glass measures of liquid bodies can be either cylindrical or cup-shaped and should be used exclusively for measuring beer and kvass drinks. In the future, it was continued in the title of the mugs type. In the documents, these mugs were designated as “КП” type measuring mugs. That is not difficult to translate as Kvass-Beer.

Well, the last, but important at all. Emotions of the owners, for the sake of which we collect these mugs.

We quote a letter from one of the site visitors: “I have a Rogan glass of three liters. There are no more than five of them among collectors in Ukraine. And so I asked the Almighty that in the USSR mugs I also had a mug that no one else has. I was heard, and for ridiculous money I had this mug. Do not put into words those feelings when you hold this mug in your hands or use it for its intended purpose. ”
