Description

This mug was produced at the Livansky glass factory in 1964. Very interesting feature! Twisted facets are twisted in the opposite direction compared to the usual classic twisted mug. This type of mug with twisted facets got its name - left-handed. Why it happened - I do not know. It seems, when viewed from above, the facets are twisted to the right. Maybe due to the fact that left-handers in life are less common than right-handed?

But no matter how it was there, the mug in form and all it parameters repeats the same as Riga mug #339. What else is remarkable in this mug? Very long among the mugs of the Livansky glass factory were some “granchak” types only, but recently a “palisade” appeared in a volume of 0.25 liters #438, and here is a mug with twisted facets. We will now wait for a mug with straight facets.

In the photo number 7 this mug is shown in comparison with the Riga right-handed #338, and the photo number 8 shows left-handers in all volumes known to us - 0.25 l., 0.33 l., 0.5 l.
