Description
Beer mugs with a pattern on the side surface of the type "palisade" - one of the most common types of mugs, were produced at eight glass factories in the aftermath of wartime. Such a pattern can be considered akin to one of the types of "straight edges" with additional decor (ellipses, circles, etc.) that appeared, were released for some time and then disappeared. Due to the longer production time of this type (1946 - mid-60s) and a large number of factories at which they were produced, we decided to distinguish them into a separate type. Factories on which they were issued::
1. Artyomovsk Glass Plant (AGP) (Artemovsk, Donetsk Region, Ukrainian SSR)
2. The glass factory named after V.V. Vorovskogo (Vorovsky lass village, Vladimir region)
3. Glass factory named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky (Novo-Borisov, BSSR)
4. Glass factory "Tarbeklaas" (Tallinn, Estonia)
5 .Riga Glassware Factory (JSF, RSF) (Riga, Latvian SSR)
6. Glass factory "Kommunar" (SFK) (Riga, Latvian SSR)
7. Lebanese Glass Factory (LSF) (Lebanon, Latvian SSR)
8. Lviv Glassworks №1, (Lviv, Ukrainian SSR)
Of the large factories, we do not see Vosstaniye, 1 KDO, Gus-Khrustalny and Urshelsky in this list (until now we did not come across the post-war mugs of these factories). After the war, Urshelian beer mugs appear only in the late 60s.
At the same time in the amount of 0.25 liters, they are much less common. Of the above eight, only the mugs of the three plants of this volume are presented in our catalog. "Kids", from my point of view, have a special charm. Masters do not just repeat all the features and drawing on a smaller volume, and the mug should look harmonious. It should be technological in production and it should be convenient to use.
