Beer and kvass mugs (1917 – 1991 years), not souvenir

Description

The handle is just huge. Height and length of the handle is 87 mm. and 57 mm. respectively. The mug is molded from three parts + bottom and rim. Casting of low quality with extraneous impurities and glass folds. The color of the glass is slightly with a greenish tinge. Very interesting mug for several reasons. We already assumed that after the war three types of mugs should be present at most of the plants. Straight lines, twisted edges and palisade. The more gaps in our knowledge are filled, the more we find evidence of our assumptions.

The original form of "paling". Not as usual, conjugation of ellipses, but clearly straight lines, giving this mug an original look. Duplication of volume on the facet and bottom. This was usually done in the late 20s and 30s. And of course a big handle. We know the light, elegant forms of “crystals of Vorovsky,” socialist realism “stars of Vorovsky” and this mug with its brutal appearance will help us look at the glass factory from another side.
