Description

The good old mug made according to the parameters defined by the "Chamber of Weights and Measures" in 1899. The special charm of clubs - a year marked on the bottom. Another documentary evidence that the cylindrical mugs released until 1932. In 1931, the release of OST 3550 put an end to the old pre-revolutionary forms and by the mid-30s they were completely superseded by new Soviet forms of beer mugs.

The photos №7 and №8 show a beer mug of the same form, but already refined for new requirements. In the mold, one of the facets is brought to the top of the rim on which the volume and the loading line will be applied by etching (they will go the other way later, the facets opposite the loading line will be made shorter). While this is done by one stencil, the loading line is simply applied in the middle.

There is no verification mark yet. We did not know exactly who put the filling lines, but it is logical to assume that they did this in verification office. In this case, this beer mug is the earliest attorney, of all in our catalog. This is presumed that 1929 at the bottom corresponds to the year of production. But at least such a stigma we have not met. Experimentally, we checked the loading line, it is located 1mm higher. That is, in each mug poured more than 4 cm3.
